GREENHORN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Grass Valley. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 40 pads to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large RV. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. I am confident that the kind folks at GREENHORN CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Grass Valley.
