GREAT SALT PLAINS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Jet. It is a fairly small park with a reported 30 rv sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at GREAT SALT PLAINS STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Jet.
