GREAT PLAINS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Mountain Park. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a possible 100 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Your large Class A should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. One of the more civilized services – Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. Do not just drive by Mountain Park – instead stop and rest at GREAT PLAINS STATE PARK.
