GREAT BEAR CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Bear Island. It is a mostly medium park with a reported 80 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park.
