GRASS POINT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Clayton. It is a mostly medium park with a reported 74 spots to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Clayton – instead stop and rest at GRASS POINT STATE PARK.
