GRAND ISLE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Grand Isle. It is a almost small park with a claimed 49 spots to park your coach. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If you ever get near Grand Isle make sure you stop on by the GRAND ISLE STATE PARK.
