GOVERNOR DODGE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Dodgeville. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 269 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at GOVERNOR DODGE STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Dodgeville.
