GOOSE MEADOWS is a RV Park in or near the town of Truckee. It is a very small park with a reported 19 slots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large RV. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Truckee – instead stop and rest at GOOSE MEADOWS.
