GOLDEN HILL STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Barker. It is a small park with a claimed 60 spots to park your RV. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at GOLDEN HILL STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Barker.
