GILBERT LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Laurens. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a listed 252 slots to park your coach. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your Motorhome should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Laurens – instead stop and rest at GILBERT LAKE STATE PARK.
