GETTYSBURG CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Gettysburg. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 260 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. One of the more civilized services – Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. If your wife or significant other insists on Oxygen network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park.
