GAVIOTA STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Goleta. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 39 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Do not just drive by Goleta – instead stop and rest at GAVIOTA STATE PARK.
