GARRISONS RIVER RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Steelville. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 180 rv sites to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. We are not sure that your 45 footer can fit comfortably so please call ahead. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Steelville – instead stop and rest at GARRISONS RIVER RESORT.
