FORT MCALLISTER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Richmond Hill. It is a small to medium park with a listed 65 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at FORT MCALLISTER STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Richmond Hill.
