FORT GETTY PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Jamestown. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 120 slots to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Jamestown, you might find a great place to stay at FORT GETTY PARK.
