FORT FISHER CAMPGROUND (FOR MILITARY CAMPING ONLY) is a RV Park in or near the town of Kure Beach. It is a fairly small park with a listed 25 spots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. If your wife or significant other insists on The Food Network network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. If you ever get near Kure Beach make sure you stop on by the FORT FISHER CAMPGROUND (FOR MILITARY CAMPING ONLY).
