FORT DESOTO CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Tierra Verde. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 238 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Your very large camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – Wireless Internet is at the park. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Tierra Verde – instead stop and rest at FORT DESOTO CAMPGROUND.
