FORT CUSTER RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Augusta. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 219 rv sites to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your large Class A should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Augusta – instead stop and rest at FORT CUSTER RECREATION AREA.
