FOREST SERVICE – FRENCH CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Bishop. It is a medium park with a possible 86 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. Do not just drive by Bishop – instead stop and rest at FOREST SERVICE – FRENCH CAMPGROUND.
