FLAMING GORGE NRA–DEER RUN is a RV Park in or near the town of Dutch John. It is a very small park with a possible 14 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your mansion on wheels since the sites are built for large RVs. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at FLAMING GORGE NRA–DEER RUN would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Dutch John.
