FJ MCLAIN STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Hancock. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 104 slots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Hancock – instead stop and rest at FJ MCLAIN STATE PARK.
