FISHERMANS ISLAND STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Charlevoix. It is a mostly medium park with a possible 80 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. We are not sure that your very long camper can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Charlevoix – instead stop and rest at FISHERMANS ISLAND STATE PARK.
