FERNWOOD RESORT BIG SUR is a RV Park in or near the town of Big Sur. It is a small to medium park with a reported 66 sites to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a 45 footer. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. One of the more civilized services – Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
