FARM ISLAND RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Pierre. It is a medium park with a listed 90 rv sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your 45 footer should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Pierre, you might find a great place to stay at FARM ISLAND RECREATION AREA.
