FAIRPORT RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Muscatine. It is a almost small park with a possible 42 slots to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip mimosa in style. Do not just drive by Muscatine – instead stop and rest at FAIRPORT RECREATION AREA.
