F. D. ROOSEVELT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Pine Mountain. It is a largish park with a listed 162 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your Big Rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Pine Mountain, give the peeps at F. D. ROOSEVELT STATE PARK a call.
