ESCALANTE PETRIFIED FOREST STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Escalante. It is a fairly small park with a possible 22 rv sites to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style. I am confident that the kind folks at ESCALANTE PETRIFIED FOREST STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Escalante.
