QUESTION – Is there a lighthouse on the property? RV52.com has not personally visited. However according to this site ( https://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/lighthouse/ia.htm ) there is a lighthouse (actually two) on the lake. However, I do not think you can go in the tower like you could the old lighthouse in Mukilteo WA for example.
This is quoted from the UNC article (go Tarheels!):
West Okoboji Lake LighthousesNote: West Okoboji Lake is one of the interconnected Iowa Great Lakes at Spirit Lake in Dickinson County, close to the Minnesota border in northwestern Iowa. The lake is about 6 mi (10 km) long and averages about one mile (1.6 km) in width.

Is there a lighthouse in this area?
Marlan at Rv52 says
Maintaining a large database of RV parks means lots of lots of data which all has mistakes. When you asked the question, I thought “dang, she has a point – no way that there is a lighthouse in Iowa”.
So I did a little research and there ARE two lighthouses on that particular lake. I only know this from research on the WWW but there is enough stuff out there, along with a phone number to the lighthouse association on the lake (which I did not call) to make me think there is a lighthouse. It doesn’t look like you can go in, but I now know something new today! Thanks for a great question.
