ELLACOYA STATE BEACH AND RV PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Gilford. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 37 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. If your wife or significant other insists on Womens Entertainment network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Gilford – instead stop and rest at ELLACOYA STATE BEACH AND RV PARK.
