EL DORADO COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS is a RV Park in or near the town of Placerville. It is a very small park with a claimed 20 slots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Your very long RV rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Note – tent camping is forbidden. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Placerville – instead stop and rest at EL DORADO COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.
