Nice note from the campground: This campground is very special to me bcause I am the 7th generation in my family to own this land! Now the campground and store have only been here since 1969 by my late uncle Howard, my late grandfather Murl, and my father Randy. I am the caretaker of the campground and the manager of the store, my name is Martin Berno. When my uncle passed on the store was immediately sold from his other half, it wasn’t until September first of 2013 when it returned back into the rightful hands of the Berno family. If it was any later then that the store wpuld not be standing today. We are very family oriented and very rationable.
In the back of the campground there is a pond and although today it does not have any fish nor is it swimable we have been and will continue to clean it out of everything that the mountain above has given it! 2015 there will be fish to catch, with equipment to rent, or your own that you brought! Plus swimming in mountain fresh water with a diving board to jump off of! There will also be paddle boats, canoes, & kayaks. We have a dumping station for the campers, firewood with fire pits in each lot, four sets of horseshoe pits (in the back field), also we have a bathhouse with showers and toilets, plus we have a flee market every weekend. Having the general Store right next door is convenient, and there are no hidden fees.

This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. When you are relaxing and enjoying your RV, you will also enjoy the Cable TV hookups too. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Maybe an anti-riff-raff rule, but tent camping is not accepted. Do not just drive by Duxbury – instead stop and rest at DUXBURY COUNTRY STORE AND CAMPGROUND.
