DEVILS POSTPILE is a RV Park in or near the town of Mammoth Lakes Basin. It is a fairly small park with a possible 21 spots to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. Do not just drive by Mammoth Lakes Basin – instead stop and rest at DEVILS POSTPILE.
