DEERHORN PARK FAMILY CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Lenoir. It is a very small park with a claimed 20 spots to park your camper. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. Note – tent camping is forbidden. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. I am confident that the kind folks at DEERHORN PARK FAMILY CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Lenoir.
