DEER CREEK CAMPGROUND – SIERRA NATIONAL FOREST is a RV Park in or near the town of Huntington Lake. It is a fairly small park with a listed 28 rv sites to park your camper. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a very large camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at DEER CREEK CAMPGROUND – SIERRA NATIONAL FOREST would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Huntington Lake.
