DAN NICHOLAS PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Salisbury. It is a small to medium park with a reported 70 rv sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Salisbury make sure you stop on by the DAN NICHOLAS PARK.

This was the worst camping trip I’ve ever been on. We didn’t even last 2 1/2 hours. We drove almost an hour and a half to get here, booked 2 nights for tent camping w/o electric and water. When it started raining our tent filled with water and mud because the site did not have the drainage set up properly, if at all. I explained what had happened to the office and they refused to give my my money back even though this was something that was their fault. When we got home I realized I was over charged by $10 as well. Next day they asked me to drive back (another hour and a half) and then void the transaction, so I did but only to find that they couldn’t figure out how to do it and then the “supervisor ” refused to do it. So back home I went. $54 for 2 1/2 hours in a park without proper drainage. Total of $36 dollars in gas and specific items bought for our weekend. All in all a total of around $120 I spent. Oh! I almost forgot to mention that our tent, bags, blankets and pillows smell like sewage water! So not only was our site not draining, something else was being drained into it! They FINALLY offered me a rain check but I will NEVER GO BACK HERE!!!
$120 may not sound like an unbearable amount but this was 2 full weeks of pay for me and my daughters ‘summer vacation ‘
