DAM WEST RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Carlyle. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 119 sites to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Carlyle, you might find a great place to stay at DAM WEST RECREATION AREA.
