CUSTER STATE PARK – STOCKADE SOUTH is a RV Park in or near the town of Custer. It is a somewhat small park with a claimed 36 slots to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Daddy RV. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. Do not just drive by Custer – instead stop and rest at CUSTER STATE PARK – STOCKADE SOUTH.
