CURRY HAMMOCK STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Marathon. It is a fairly small park with a reported 28 rv sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your mansion on wheels since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Marathon, give the peeps at CURRY HAMMOCK STATE PARK a call.
