CROOKED CREEK RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Ville Platte. It is a largish park with a reported 135 slots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has no pull thru sites. Your Big Daddy RV should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here.
