CRATERS OF THE MOON NATIONAL MONUMENT/LAVA FLOW CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Arco. It is a small park with a possible 51 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very long camper. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Do not just drive by Arco – instead stop and rest at CRATERS OF THE MOON NATIONAL MONUMENT/LAVA FLOW CAMPGROUND.
