COUNCIL GROUNDS STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Merrill. It is a almost small park with a reported 47 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at COUNCIL GROUNDS STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Merrill.
