COOKSON BEND RESORT AND MARINA is a RV Park in or near the town of Cookson. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 121 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If your coach is 36 feet or longer you might want to call and see if you are too long. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip pina colada in style.
