COLUMBUS BELMONT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Columbus. It is a somewhat small park with a reported 37 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large Class A motorhome. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Columbus – instead stop and rest at COLUMBUS BELMONT STATE PARK.
