CLEARWATER NATIONAL FOREST/POWELL JUNCTION is a RV Park in or near the town of Orofino. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 32 pads to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your very long RV rig should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Orofino, you might find a great place to stay at CLEARWATER NATIONAL FOREST/POWELL JUNCTION.
