CLEAR LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Atlanta. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 200 rv sites to park your RV. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Rig. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Atlanta make sure you stop on by the CLEAR LAKE STATE PARK.
