CHOLLA CAMPGROUND – ROOSEVELT LAKE – TONTO NATL FOREST is a RV Park in or near the town of Roosevelt. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 206 pads to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it.
