CHISOS BASIN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Big Bend National Park. It is a fairly small park with a reported 26 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a 45 footer. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at CHISOS BASIN CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Big Bend National Park.
