CHIPPEWA CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Sault Sainte Marie. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 100 spots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a mansion on wheels. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Depending on your perspective you might like this park as animals are not particularly welcome. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. Do not just drive by Sault Sainte Marie – instead stop and rest at CHIPPEWA CAMPGROUND.
