CHICOT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Ville Platte. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 228 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your very long camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. If you ever get near Ville Platte make sure you stop on by the CHICOT STATE PARK.
