CHEYENNE STATE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Wood River. It is a super miniscule park with a reported 6 pads to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Your large Class A should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Wags since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. I am confident that the kind folks at CHEYENNE STATE RECREATION AREA would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Wood River.
